The Role

Our Senior Account Manager-China will be joining a talented team as one of the first points of contact for prospective Pepperstone clients. You will be responsible for new client acquisitions at Pepperstone with a focus on increasing conversions of demo and trading account applications. You’ll be communicating with our clients via phone and email, actively building new and strengthening existing relationships within the Asia region. You’ll assist our clients by building a strong knowledge of our products and platforms and providing custom solutions to overcome their unique challenges.  Ultimately, your goal will be to promote our brand, increase conversions and provide exceptional value to clients.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the finance industry, at least 1 year of FX broker experience with a proven track record in Sales.
  • Ability to manage the sales pipeline and meet multiple deadlines including sales targets.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and trading strategy
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation processes
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, team-oriented with previous customer service or sales experience highly regarded
  • Ability to present complex information in a simple manner, e.g. trading concepts
  • Proficient numerical ability; be comfortable working with numbers
  • Sound decision making and critical thinking
  • Experience with MetaTrader 4 and cTrader software (desirable)
  • Experience with financial investments (desirable)
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or similar (desirable)
