Job Description
Our client, a Cyprus-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) delivering High-Speed Internet and Voice Services to residential, business, education and government customers is looking for a Senior Network Administrator. They believe there is much more to an internet company than just delivering cost-effective internet solutions, they believe in delivering an overall customer experience that competitors simply cannot match.
The Senior Network Administrator has general responsibility for servers, software applications and above all, networking in their local and wide-area networks.
Job Description
- Responsible for router and switch setup, server setup, network setup and maintenance, and operations to optimize network performance and end-user experience
- Troubleshooting network/server/software performance degradations
- Participates in aspects of planning and implementing software projects throughout the network including installation of new or upgraded equipment or software, identifying, and replacing faulty equipment and resolving hardware and software problems possibly related to server and support systems
- Provides end-user and Help Desk support for network-related questions and assists and trains other network personnel
- Creates and maintains high availability server infrastructure

Education and Experience preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent
