Job Description

Premium new job opportunity for a seasoned corporate administrator with some accounting knowledge. Our client is a growing, single-family office. As a member of the team, the successful candidate will provide invaluable assistance in a multitude of ways and must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work within a demanding environment. This position suits someone interested in Wealth Management who wants exposure to various aspects of the finance industry.

 

Job Description

  • Oversee revenues / expenses related to a proprietary small real estate portfolio and related assets
  • Work with 3rd parties and assist team members in managing the property portfolio (insurance, mortgages, etc.)
  • Track and administer bill payments related to the family office and its assets
  • Collect documents that require signatures, follow up to ensure proper execution and arrange indexing and safekeeping of those documents
  • Organize team/family member calendar / meetings
  • Lead the process to adequately close investments in private equity / illiquid equities / alternative assets, including managing onboarding / KYC and filling out relevant documents (subscription agreements, LPA, SPAs, PPMs, etc.)
  • Properly maintain a database of all executed documents for each investment
  • Maintain a log of known and upcoming cash proceeds and needs (capital calls, investments, interest payments, etc.)
  • Liaise with 3rd parties (legal, compliance, etc.) to process NDAs, obtain necessary consent to insure smooth document transaction
  • Liaise with 3rd parties to secure necessary access to data room and other investment and marketing material

Your Profile

  • Strong communication skills, be comfortable working with numbers and have a basic knowledge of ledger accounting
  • Prior experience in a family office, Investment management and/ or financial institution, particularly in the execution of subscription documents with PE funds / illiquid equities / alternative assets
  • A strong desire to learn new skills and carry out multiple tasks
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft Excel  and IT Literate
  • A degree in Finance / Management / Business would be a plus but is not necessary
  • Fluency in English is essential
