Quality and Product Controller

Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Property development and Investment industry. Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client a leading Property Development company, we are seeking to recruit a Quality and Product Controller to join their team in Larnaca.
The successful applicant will possess 2+ years of relevant construction experience, preferably in a Property Development or a Construction company, engaged with international clients, be fluent in both written and spoken English / Greek .
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Liaise with architects for the product concept design to ensure current trends are being implied
• Liaise with engineers for the product structural, electro-mechanical, energy efficiency studies
• Oversee developments licensing procedures
• Liaise with architects for the integration of any license conditions to the development plans
• Responsible for the issuance of technical specifications for every development
• Preparation of costing for each development
• Review contractor quotations in collaboration with Product Development Manager
• Research, analysis, and preparation of materials catalogue for each development
• Oversee developments to ensure that company quality standards are being followed
• Oversee contractors to ensure Company’s Health and Safety policies are being implied
• Oversee and maintain financial and timeframe responsibilities of contractors
• Preparation of reports related to cost vs progress of development
• Oversee and maintain correspondence with contractors
• Manage and implement agreed modifications with purchasers
• Oversee issuance of final approval and separate title deeds
• Any other relevant duties as requested by the Product Development Manager
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• ETEK member
• 1-3 years proven working experience in a similar position
• Strong sense of professionalism, organizational, analytical, and reporting skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent command of the English and Greek languages, both oral and written
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office software’s
• IT literate, MS Office experience
Remuneration:
An attractive package of remuneration will be offered to the successful candidate based on industry knowledge, experience and qualifications which includes provident fund, traveling allowance, 21 annual days off, 3 days sick leave paid, yearly salary increases and bonuses based on performance.
