Our client’s Trading Operations Center (TOC) based in Limassol, Cyprus, would like to welcome a dynamic and engaged MT4/5 Platform Administrator. You will be joining a pioneering FinTech firm and world-class provider of multi-asset FinTech products from liquidity solutions to in-house tech hubs to online trading platforms. With over 400 global specialists in 9 languages, they provide clients with access to individual, professional, and institutional brokerage services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Join the TOC team and see yourself working in an established position with its primary objective being to ensure smooth trading platform operations. You will support the global incentives implementation whilst ensuring the highest levels of efficiency are applied to trading platforms’ configuration and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- General MT4 and MT5 platform configurations
- Monitor the health and resources of the platform to ensure stability and expected performance
- Analyze platform’s performance, troubleshooting, and perform/coordinate any required changes for trading infrastructure (VMs, architecture, applications)
- Diagnose technical problems such as delays, malfunctions, and errors to determine the true cause of the problem and provide a workable and optimal solution in a reasonable timeframe
- Explain or present (technical) information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals and/or groups in a clear, accurate, and understandable manner
- Integration, testing, and support MQ native, third-party, and in-house: tools, software, plugins
- Access management for all platforms
- Design and implement failover procedures and automated backups for trading platforms and FIX engines
- Manage and maintain MT server stability, security, and optimization
- Generate reports that can assist the management of the company
- Cooperate closely with all IT departments
- Contribute to a positive and dynamic working environment
- Propose changes and new technologies based on market trends
Requirements:
- Good understanding of MT4/5 core structure and components: MT4’s (DC, failover, and Main) and MT5’s (Access Server, Backup, History server, Main Servers, Trade Servers)
- Good knowledge of the monitoring tools like Corner Bowl, Zabbix, Grafana
- Solid knowledge of database technology, design of physical and logical DB models, including writing complex SQL queries, triggers, stored procedures and functions
- Windows Powershell or MSDOS command line knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of any programming language (C, C++, Java) is a plus
- Good understanding of XC/OZ core structure and components is a plus
- Basic Networking and Windows Server administration knowledge
- Quick learner and eager to grow professionally
- Good business understanding of trading, liquidity, aggregation, execution etc.
- Great team player with ability to work unsupervised
- Comfortable to working in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask
