Job Description
A high-end renovations firm is looking for its next Junior Engineer to join a growing team to learn and develop their career. Candidates should be qualified civil engineers looking to experience site work and the full scope of high-end renovations.
Job Description
- Studies the project concept, architectural drawings, and models
- Assists the team to confirm adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress, inspecting the construction site, and verifying calculations and placements
- Assists and monitors senior team colleagues as they fulfill project requirements by training and guiding operators
- Helps to maintain operations by assisting seniors to enforce project and operational policies and procedures
- Helps the team to provide engineering information by sourcing info for answering questions and requests by all related collaborators
- Helps the team and management to comply with local legal requirements; enforces adherence to requirements; and advises management on needed actions
- Helping, learning, and liaising on-site with all relevant suppliers and partners such as plumbers, electricians, etc and simultaneously learning to maintain solid relationships with the end customer
Your Profile
- Site experience is a plus but not essential
- Conceptual skills
- Legal compliance mentality
- Drafting knowledge and skills is a bonus
- Problem-solving attitude
- Eager to learn and develop
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering essential
- Native Greek speaker; English a plus
- Recent civil engineering graduate, any relevant experience welcome; renovations experience is a big bonus
