Job Description

Our client, a very well-established travel/tourism and destination management company in Limassol, is looking to recruit a Greek and English-speaking Travel Coordinator.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To communicate with our international clients for their requests to Cyprus and revert with competitive proposals.
  • To create proposals and confirm bookings for: leisure groups, individual travelers, special interest groups
  • Corporate Travel – Conferences & Incentive Groups, Other travel requests
  • To coordinate day to day with travel agencies, hotels, transport providers, tour guides, restaurants, activity suppliers, various other suppliers
  • To maintain budgets, timelines and priorities set on every project and booking.
  • To support team members whilst maintaining motivation and enthusiasm to successfully deliver the company’s projects.
  • To proactively report on project timelines and tasks.
  • To drive for excellence in customer service and quality delivery.
  • To represent the company as and when necessary or appropriate.
  • To coordinate groups on-site throughout Cyprus when necessary.

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent English & Greek skills
  • French or other language considered an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Cyprus as a travel destination
  • Good communication skills a must
  • Energetic, sociable, and service oriented
  • Good web/email/MS Office skills
  • Past experience in a hotel, travel agency, event agency, tourism business, DMC or similar will be considered an advantage
  • Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Events or similar
  • Drivers License necessary (manual an advantage)
  • Must be legally allowed to work in Cyprus (EU)

 

Working hours:

The working hours will be Monday – Friday from 9am – 6pm with 1 hour lunch.

 

Salary:

The company is offering a competitive salary based on experience plus a monthly bonus based on a percentage of bookings. For graduates and those without tourism experience, starting from 1,000-1,100  Euros gross, for experienced travel managers they can offer a salary of 1,600 Euros gross for 5+ years’ experience. Paid overtime, when necessary, for group operations on-site, during evenings or weekends.
