Job Description
Our client is a leading global fuel company with operations globally and they are looking to hire a Finance Manager for their Cyprus licensee in Nicosia.
The role will primarily be responsible for:
- Reporting directly to the Finance Director of Greece and dotted line to the Country Manager Cyprus
- Supporting the Country Manager in all financial aspects (reporting, planning, budgeting)
- Analysing financial statements, preparing reports and recommendations to top management concerning financial performance
- Overseeing all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, tax and treasury
- Track, report and managing the overall financial performance
- Supporting and advising Sales and Operations teams
- Leading, training and developing the finance team
- Identifying and addressing potential financial risks for the company
- Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with local law & regulations and setting up of controls framework
- Tied control of local operations, along with improvement of procedures and processes
- Managing people skills and especially the local team
- A self-motivated professional with ability to work under pressure and deliver results on time and accurate
- In addition to a very strong finance/accounting background, the role requires a candidate with excellent business acumen, gravitas and strong leadership skills both internally and externally as the role will be dealing with major external stakeholders related to Investments and Project Financing.
