Job Description

Our client, a luxury Marina project, is looking to hire a Credit Controller to be based at their marina in Limassol.

Join a dynamic, close-knit and driven team working in an unrivalled environment to deliver services to customers of the Marina project.

Reporting to the CFO, the position will be responsible for:

  • Managing and collecting of all payments and debts from company debtors.
  • Preparing statements and ageing reports
  • Responding to client inquiries.
  • Managing the sales ledger and review accounts receivables, on a daily basis
  • Negotiating payment plans.
  • Liaising with Solicitors and bankers
  • To carry out various reconciliation
  • Maintain up to date and complete credit files and back all accounts with a credit application
  • Pursue collection of accounts previously written off
  • Ensuring that credit collection policies and procedures within your organization are adhered to
  • Carries out any other assignment that the company will find appropriate
  • Any other duties, tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned and/or amended by the management

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Educated to a degree level in Accounting or Finance
  • Previous work experience as a credit controller will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent command of the spoken/written English language.
  • Experience in a service Environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several activities simultaneously
  • Strong organization and analytical skills
  • Speaks clearly, fluently and in a compelling manner to both individuals and groups
  • Understands technical or professional aspects of work and continually maintains technical knowledge
  • Writes in a clear and concise manner, using appropriate grammar, style and language for the reader
  • Creates new and imaginative approaches to work-related issues. Identifies fresh approaches and shows a willingness to question traditional assumptions

The working hours are Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm
