Job Description
This role focuses primarily on the configuring and monitoring of our client’s trading environments and to provide both technical, and trade-related client support across a broad range of products and asset classes. In addition to being responsible for ad-hoc trading research projects, the candidate will also assist with the preparation and updating of marketing materials and proposals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious and detail-oriented, and be able to work with the operations teams to continuously enhance current processes.
Job Description
Monitor all trading environments
Proactively interact with clients to ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction
Complete trade administration functions to include the updating of futures expiries and market holidays along with daily trade reconciliation
Liaise with technology and multi-asset liquidity providers
Accept ownership for projects whilst exploring value-add opportunities
Shift work required, predominately outside of normal office hours
Research and review corporate action events
Monitor and act on market information relating to securities to include pricing and event information.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in finance-related field or verified employment experience in lieu
Experience with the Metatrader (MT4 and MT5) platforms is essential. Familiarity with other trading software, an advantage
Solid understanding of the trade life cycle including post trade activities
Able to work early mornings from 7am Monday through Friday
A general knowledge of futures and equity products and how they are traded is preferable
Understanding trading aggregations/give up systems (Traiana, Netlink…etc.) is a definite advantage
Understanding Prime Brokerage service/systems is a definite advantage
Ability to be cooperative, friendly, and enthusiastic with co-workers and customers and to quickly adapt to change
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills
Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal with fluency in English
Experience in the use of scripting/database language is a definite plus.
