Job Description
Blue Orange Property Management Services Ltd, is seeking to recruit an Operations Manager to join a highly active team based in Paphos. The successful candidate will be supporting the Blue Orange Managing Director with all aspects of the Blue Orange Property Management Services.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Oversee the operation of all Properties, ensuring they are in an excellent condition and properly maintained outdoors and indoors, with the aim to exceed client expectations
• Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission – specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning
• Assist with the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions
• Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
• Create a continuous improving environment, teamwork, and a dedication to execute right things
• Supervise or direct in cooperation with Human Resources the employee-training program of the organization for all existing and new team members.
• Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls
• Assist in tasks such as recruitment, employee development and business development
• Enforce commercial skills in order to meet costs and sales budgets
• Interact with employees and assist existing or new customers in response to their concerns, questions, or complaints
• Assist the Managing Director in managing the budget of the division and achieving stand-alone productivity for business
• Liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors and vendors
Necessary requirements:
• University Degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management or related field
• Excellent command of the English and Greek languages, both in written and oral
• At least five years of experience in supervisory positions preferable in the Services/ Hotel Industry
• Excellent Computer Literacy
• Strong interpersonal, communication and management skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work autonomously and on own initiative
• Ability to prioritize work, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
