Our client, an international group of companies in Limassol, is looking for a Russian-speaking Financial Accountant. This well-established company with a small office has an excellent, positive and relaxing working environment. They are looking for some to cover maternity leave from approximately September 2021- March 2022.
Day to day accounting operations of Group companies
Preparation of Financial Statements
Other Reporting preparation to company management
Assisting in year-end audits, coordination and liaising with auditors, lawyers and other parties
Assisting in preparation of corporation tax and VAT returns when applicable
Participation in administrative tasks – preparation and review of contracts, invoices, reconciliations, letters and other documents
Control over the circulation of documents
Performing other duties upon the request of management
At least 3-4 years practical experience in accounting and administration with international financial and holding companies
experience with accounting software
Being able to prepare financial statements
Knowledge of IFRS Accounting Standards
Professional accounting qualification will be considered as an advantage
Treasury experience and tax exposure knowledge are welcomed
Good analytical skills
Excellent fluency, reading & writing in English and Russian (Preferably native Russian speaker or able to read and understand agreements, letters and e-mails in Russian)
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel)
Currently staying in Cyprus and eligible to work in Cyprus
The working hours are Monday – Friday from 09.00-18.00.
