Our client is a financial company based in Limassol, and have offices spread across Europe. They offer a unique opportunity to participate in the building of a leading participant in a rapidly growing market place. They are currently looking for a Portfolio manager assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar position and have Cysec’s Basic/Advanced in AML test certifications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Generating an investment policy statement, outlining our clients investment objective
  • Constructing successful investment portfolios informed by market conditions and economic trends
  • Buying and selling securities in client accounts to maintain a specific investment strategy, or to reach an investment objective
  • Determining acceptable risk levels for clients based on time frames, risk preferences, return expectations and market conditions
  • Maintaining new and existing client relationship, including informing clients of investment research and economic trends and to discuss their portfolio performance and investment objectives
  • Evaluating and performance of investment portfolios and ensuring compliance with standards provided by regulatory organizations, including conformance with investor disclosures, privacy laws, anti-money laundering requirements, and anti frauds measures
  • Prospecting for new clients
  • Staying up to date with relevant investment and trading news, and economic trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or finance is an advantage
  • Cysec’s Basic/Advanced in AML test certifications
  • Detailed understanding of capital market
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Proficient in microsoft office suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Other languages are considered as advantage
  • Highly organized and detail- oriented
