Our client, a Shipping Services Company in Limassol, is looking for a Customer Service Officer who will be responsible for providing technical support to clients and who is willing to work on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, including night shifts. The work contains of offering support to their customers, mainly ships, and make sure their equipment is working adequately. Most of the questions from customers will be related to IT hardware and software. Further there will be some account handling.
Fluency in English
German skills are a big plus
IT service background or maritime / shipping background would be preferable (like 2nd or 3rd mate)
Excellent communication skills
The working hours are shift hours. The shifts would be set up to work partly on Monday’s and Fridays and work 12hrs shifts on Saturday (6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am) and on Sunday (6am to 6pm and 6pm to 3am). For Monday and Friday the working hours for the morning shift-person will be morning (Eg. 10am to 2pm) and afternoons for the night shift person (Eg 12pm – 6p) but these hours are to be discussed. One week will be morning shift, the other week will be week late shift (so weekly rotation)
The company is offering a salary of 1,800 – 2,000 Euros gross per month (based on skills and experience) for 32 hours per week (weekends)
